An opportunity to join this team of competent and driven engineers is currently available. In the position as electroacoustic engineer you will contribute to the growth of Ortofon by participating in the development of new Hi-Fi and DJ cartridges as well as taking part in product development by participating in customer oriented project activities.

Strong on micro mechanic transducers. Ortofon’s product portfolio offers World class leading cartridges, precision molded technical rubber and plastic parts and electro-mechanical solutions for Bone Conducting sound systems. As Electroacoustic Engineer your responsibility will be to ensure this position both by participating in product development projects as well as driving the development of new test systems that continue to ensure top performing products to the customers.

A precision engineer with an innovative mindset

To excel in this job, you have a Bachelor or Master of Science within the field of electrical engineering. Preferably you have focused on acoustics in your educational years, but you may have also found this specific area to be at the core of your professional interest later as a conclusion to your professional experiences. You have several years of experience with transducer design, you are strong in vibro-acoustic systems and you have experience with integration of dynamic simulation models as a design tool. You know how to develop a test system and are used to documenting your results. You may have gained this experience from the medico industry, the electronic industry or from the audio (Hi-Fi or Hearing Health Care) industry.

You are a team-oriented person, who see the value in collaboration and professional sparring, yet you are also able to work independently and proactively. You have an open and visionary mindset, and you can see yourself contributing to the progress and momentum of Ortofon.
