Kollmorgen is a subsidiary of Altra Industrial Motion Corp. and is a leading global manufacturer of motion systems for a variety of applications. The company has manufacturing facilities, engineering centers, customer service and sales in all major regions of the world.

As Regional Sales Manager Nordics you will become part of Kollmorgen’s commercial team in Europe, and you will be commercially responsible for the developing of the Nordic markets. You will assume responsibility for managing key accounts, maintaining and growing existing accounts as well as identifying, engaging with and developing new accounts. You will be interfacing at a commercial and technical level with customers, and your sales activities will be supported by internal teams, where you will find in depth technical expertise on the products and solutions that represents the competitive platform of the business.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Identifying growth potential and increasing share at both existing and new accounts

  • Developing new business through agreed customer engagement strategies

  • Presentation of new solutions as well as conducting contract and price negotiations

  • Completing VOC work in support of new product development

  • Working with marketing to maximise direct sales activities

  • Developing strategies, tools and processes, and reporting on activities and results

You will be based at your home office and spending a major part of your time visiting customers and pursuing opportunities in the Nordic Markets.

An ambitious, commercial, and growth-oriented business developer

Your educational background is most likely a degree in business, marketing of engineering. You have already built 5-6 years of front-line sales experience in a role involving sales management, application engineering and business development in targeted markets. Experience within motion control, drives, gears or motors is preferred, but you may also have other relevant experience in an engineering company or a technical solution industry.

You have a track record, that demonstrates your ability to develop markets, engage customers and grow partnerships. You are characterized by a winning mentality and a strong drive, and you are energized by pursuing business opportunities, building relations, and growing markets.

It is essential for your success in this role that you are a convincing communicator and a trustworthy negotiator – and not the least, that you thrive in a role with a wide range of stakeholder from different functions, geographies and industries.

You are fluent in English, and one or more of the Nordic languages.
