Market director/SVP with insurance focus

Do you have a solid understanding of how the insurance business operates? Do you want to continue grow Nextway’s strategic initiatives towards the insurance business? Would you like to run the business together with colleagues from six different countries and have a high impact without dealing with people management? Right now, we’re looking for a market director/SVP who’ll shoulder the responsibility for Nextway’s growth and footprint in the industry – especially in the Nordic region. With our Next® Digital Workplace enterprise suite of apps, we make even the best insurance companies run more efficiently – in the cloud and on premises. Want to help?

What you get to do

  • Run the annual process of determining the strategic initiatives towards the industry and be on top of converting objectives into action, reach the goals, and budgets

  • Increase sales of Next® within the insurance industry and focus on existing customers and develop partnerships with them

  • Maintain and develop cooperation and go to market strategies with our Insurtech partners

  • Use our existing success cases to open the doors to potential customers, especially in the Nordic countries

  • Spot business opportunities with both current and potential customers

  • Take active part in all phases of the sale - and work closely with both customers and colleagues

  • Stay on top of market developments, take an active part in core business processes and steering groups

  • Work with an international group of smart, passionate, respectful colleagues across other countries

  • Assist our customers in making clever business decisions for smarter automated solutions and impact the work of thousands around you

  • Travel up to approx. 40 days per year
     

What you bring to the team

  • Your resume shines from relevant working experience from a software or consultant company providing services to the insurance industry

  • You are a ’people person’ and excellent at creating long-termed partnerships/relationships

  • You most likely have a background in consultancy or solution implementation and insights to the insurance business

  • You have a strong commercial acumen and an eye for business opportunities

  • You have natural organizational and leadership skills

  • You know that success does not come easily, and you excel in creating results both independently and with others

  • You have solid communication skills. You must be proficient in English, as it is our corporate language. You speak Danish fluently.

  • You’re structured and sharp minded, and love to manage and mingle

  • You value good relationships and enjoy contributing to a great team spirit

  • You are ambitious and like to have fun — just like us

Potential bonus skills

  • You have a solid business understanding and a commercial mindset

  • You have studied Business Economics, Business Administration or completed another relevant education at university level

  • You have experience from and understanding of the insurance business functions

  • You place customer business value first, before tech
