Digital Sales Manager

Growth strategy • Spare parts to global wind customers

Drive spare parts eCommerce as a new business area

Would you like to create and coordinate plans for a new business area that can support Svendborg Brakes’ growth strategy? Are you able to successfully drive eCommerce business when it comes to sale of spare parts to global customers in the wind market? Then this newly created position might be your next career step.

Svendborg Brakes has a leading position in the global wind industry, and they supply customers all over the world. This position forms the basis for an ambitious and realistic expectation for a whole new business area in which you take the lead and execute the relaunch of Svendborg Brakes’ eShop. This will give you the opportunity to create and execute online sales and marketing strategies that create a best-in-class customer experience while increasing engagement and sales. It’s your job to identify the needs for the optimisation of the eShop, so you can set the framework for creating good solutions that support and complement the customers’ purchases. Pricing models and upsell opportunities are also a part of your tasks in this position.

Everything is based on analyses and reports on customer behaviour insights, and the tracking of sales and key metrics to identify additional business opportunities.

The tasks will be conducted in close cooperation with marketing, product management, procurement, sales, and customer care, who all have in-depth knowledge of customers' needs and habits. What you need to bring is knowledge of digital sales and an understanding of eCommerce. And you will need to uncover and be able to communicate the right eShop solutions to external developers.

As part of the customer care business area, you will work closely with the Global Sales Director as well as with sales and brand management. You and your colleagues strive to ensure that Svendborg Brakes’ customers experience a global supplier that supports its products throughout the entire life cycle.

Digital merchant, technical understanding, and ‘can do’ attitude

You are a digital merchant with technical insight and a knowledge of successful eCommerce sales models. You possess the requisite eCommerce background, supplemented by either an administrative or commercial education or relevant work experience. You have collaborated with internal teams across functions, and pricing management experience relating to spare parts or similar is an advantage.

You work structured and result oriented with a commercial ‘can do’ attitude. You must also be comfortable with the constant change that comes with operating in the ever-changing world of eCommerce. You can push and challenge the web supplier during the development phase, and you have an interest in taking part in the day-to-day operation of the eShop site.

You have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel. Also, excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

A great opportunity in a global growing team

It is a job with the opportunity to create great results, and from day one, you enter a professional and international working environment in a company that is the market leader in its industry – and that has further, ambitious plans for the future. This new role is an opportunity for you to build a new and very important business area for Svendborg Brakes, which allows you to bring your skills from eCommerce into play at a level where your knowledge will have the interest and attention of the organisation. You will have the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally. Does this sound like an opportunity for you?
