Hydraulic Engineer

Design of hydraulic systems for customized braking applications

Can you see yourself working in a well-established R&D department with competent and motivated colleagues? Can you envision yourself designing solutions, which create safety and security in every type of braking application where large forces or special condition apply? And are you, or do you aspire to become, an experienced hydraulic engineer in an international environment?

If so, you might be the next engineer to join the team.

Make your professional ambition come true remote or onsite

You and your 8 competent colleagues in the Application & Control Department are involved, when the projects relate to customer specific applications. The latest challenges involve solutions that must function in an elevator; an underwater turbine; a submarine; or the mountains of Tibet in an altitude of 4,500 meters. The applications are diverse and offer plenty of design challenges.

Your task will be to design hydraulic systems that match the specific customer’s application. Your typical workday will be a mix of working independently and a cross-functionally, as the solutions are often to be found in interdisciplinary collaborations. You will, among other things, cooperate with a technical designer, who assists you in your work by creating the technical documentation.

Based on specifications and timeline, the projects are led by a Project Manager. You will, therefore, be able to concentrate on the technical aspects of the project as well as your own project timeline.

Svendborg Brakes has its own hydraulic manufacturing and test center, where it is possible to test your designs, and where customers will visit to see the progress of the projects. This means you will be able to see your projects through to the end.

You will be offered an individually customized training and onboarding program. Whether you choose to work remotely or on site in Vejstrup is not essential.
