Bramming Plast-Industri (BPI) is currently seeking a talented QHSE Specialist to help maintain the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment. This role is based within the Operations Department in Bramming, where you will collaborate closely with various departments to champion QHSE practices and prioritize environmental sustainability.
A crucial role in all QHSE initiatives
As a QHSE Specialist, your primary focus will be on ensuring and promoting environmental responsibility within BPI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish, enforce, and continuously enhance QHSE policies and standards, particularly regarding environmental aspects.
Your responsibilities include conducting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards, and leading investigations into customer claims. You will also play a critical role in BPI's environmental initiatives, seeking permits, maintaining contacts with authorities, and conducting environmental audits. Additionally, you will collaborate with BPI's Sustainability Specialist to develop and maintain a sustainability profile aligned with the commitment to environmental responsibility.
Guiding environmental excellence
Your role as a QHSE Specialist encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities. You will lead investigations into customer claims, implement procedures to uphold quality standards, and oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Your work also includes delivering QHSE training to boost employee awareness and knowledge.
While your primary focus is on environmental sustainability, you will contribute to BPI's overall QHSE efforts by initiating, executing, and participating in QHSE-related projects that enhance the environmental, safety, and quality performance.
Your qualifications are key
To excel in this position, a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent qualifications are essential.
Strong communication skills in both Danish and English are essential, as is proven experience in QHSE, preferably within a similar industry. You should possess in-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations and best practices, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards, and quality tools.
Familiarity with ERP systems, risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and environmental reporting is highly beneficial. BPI values analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, effective communication, and the ability to lead training sessions.
