DRIVE COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE AND CREATE A PREMIUM RETAIL EXPERIENCE ACROSS ALL TEMPUR STORES AND EXHIBITIONS IN SCANDINAVIA
Odense / Scandinavia
Do you want to lead Tempur’s own retail stores and exhibitions across Scandinavia, ensuring top performance and exceptional customer experiences everywhere the brand meets consumers?
As Retail & Sales Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for driving results across all stores and exhibitions, leading Store and Exhibition Managers, following up on KPIs and securing a consistent, premium experience that strengthens the Tempur brand throughout Scandinavia.
Lead, inspire and optimize retail performance across Scandinavia
Reporting to the VP Nordic, you will have full operational and financial responsibility for all Tempur Stores in Scandinavia, currently seven locations with three in Denmark, two in Sweden and two in Norway, as well as for Exhibition Managers. You will lead a total team of nine managers and take overall responsibility for performance, KPIs, operational standards and commercial activities, while continuing to develop and refine the retail and exhibition concepts.
Your role combines hands-on retail leadership with analytical follow-up and structured execution. You will drive sales, optimize store performance and ensure best practice across markets, while maintaining a consistent customer experience whether the visit takes place in a store in Oslo or Stockholm, or at an exhibition in Copenhagen.
Your responsibilities include:
-
Manage store and event operations, budgets, and performance across all Scandinavian markets
-
Drive sales performance through KPI follow-up and data analysis
-
Ensure high operational standards, aligned processes, and consistent reporting
-
Take full P/L responsibility for stores, exhibitions and related commercial activities
-
Support and develop teams through visible, engaging leadership
-
Participate at selected events and exhibitions to observe, support and ensure learning and improvement
Drive growth through structured leadership and commercial insight
You may come from a multi-unit retail organization within lifestyle, design, or other premium consumer brands where brand consistency and customer experience are key to success. You combine strong analytical and operational skills with the ability to engage and lead others.
You understand how to translate a strong brand concept into daily retail operations, and you thrive on driving results through structure, data, and people.
To succeed in this role, we expect you have:
-
Proven experience in retail management and sales operations across multiple stores or markets
-
A commercial mindset and strong analytical skills
-
Experience with budget responsibility, performance management, and KPI tools
-
Hands-on leadership style and an eye for both detail and results
-
Proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on teamwork and shared goals
-
Willingness to travel approximately 70 days per year across Scandinavia
A large part of your day-to-day activities will take place in stores as well as at various exhibitions and events — which means frequent travel, both nationally and internationally. You will, however, have a base at Tempur’s Danish / Nordic office, centrally located in Odense.
