Do you want to play a key role in strengthening TEMPUR's already impressive market position in the Nordics? In Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland, TEMPUR's local organizations have already established solid marketing setups. Now is the time to join the forces and elevate the efforts to new heights with a unified, coordinated Nordic strategy - online as well as offline.

Developing the Nordic organization and executing a unified strategy

Your primary objective is to establish a coordinated marketing approach across the Nordic countries. This doesn't mean simply replicating the Danish model for the other Nordic countries. On the contrary, organizations in these countries have achieved impressive results through diverse channel strategies and effective market communication.

Therefore, your success will depend on harnessing the organization's competencies and ideas, making optimal use of a substantial shared budget, and recognizing the value of one of the Nordics' strongest consumer brands.

You will oversee the marketing teams in all four countries, managing a total of 11 skilled employees and managers. This includes handling the overall budget, implementing shared media agreements, and developing and executing a unified Nordic strategy. This endeavor will entail close collaboration with the local teams, the VP for the Nordics, and the international marketing department in London.

This is a strategic role in an organization that has achieved one of the greatest market successes by ensuring that everyone, including employees in strategic positions, acts tactically and operationally in daily execution. Therefore, it is natural that you actively participate in idea and concept creation, selection and negotiations with key suppliers, and in developing the Nordics organization.

Experienced in marketing high-end consumer products in the Nordics

You have experience in marketing branded consumer products to conscious consumers who explore and purchase through various channels. You are familiar with omnichannel marketing and understand the ongoing evolution in consumers' buying journeys.

Understanding the mechanics involved when the overall marketing effort must accommodate various interests inherent in multichannel distribution, covering brand stores, wholesalers, and e-commerce, is crucial. With a rapidly growing online business and significant potential, strong skills in developing and executing digital marketing strategies, particularly focusing on performance marketing, are essential.

As you will be supervising a team of highly skilled professionals, prior experience in leading a department of specialists is necessary, even if this is your first role where you take on full responsibility. You are accustomed to handling sizable budgets and excel in maximizing collaboration with agencies—both creative and media.

You are innovative and exhibit contagious enthusiasm when presenting your ideas to the organization. Being part of a large international corporation necessitates fluency in English, both written and spoken, in your daily communication with customers and colleagues.

When you're not visiting your teams in Sweden, Finland, or Norway, you will have a designated workspace at the Danish office located in the central part of Odense.
